On page 22, you will find Anne's royal badge depicting a falcon holding a scepter. In heraldry, the falcon symbolizes, "one who does not rest until the objective is achieved." Judging from her ability to hold out for the ultimate prize - the crown of England, it was a befitting choice.
Anne's daughter, Elizabeth I, later also adopted the falcon holding a scepter as her badge, and this badge can be seen on the borders of Elizabeth 's page (page 38-39).
In Henry's letters to Anne (page 23), the letter ends with Henry's real signature. Henry wrote to Anne in French and English and signed a few of these letters as, "your loving servant." Seventeen of those love letters have survived. Only one of Anne's letters back to Henry exists today, but many historians question its authenticity.
How many fingers does Anne have on page 21?
